Criminal Offence for ignoring Right to Rent scheme
Tue 22 Nov 20161st of December 2016 sees the introduction of measures to make it a criminal offence for failing to carry out Right-to-Rent checks properly..
"I first instructed T and C about three years ago because we had previously relied on just one letting agent and I thought it sensible to introduce a second agent to encourage competition. Since then we have increased the number of instructions to T and C as they have consistently provided a good and reliable and attentive service. They communicate with both tenants and ourselves promptly, repairs are carried out without fuss, and issues quickly resolved. It is my intention to continue with T and C and we are shortly to expand the number of our properties with them to six. "
